Robin Averill

Before coming to Canada from Ireland, Robin Averill had established himself as a top class entertainer and vocalist with Ireland's popular showbands, "The Signs", and "The College Boys". He also toured extensively throughout Ireland, England, and Scotland.

Not long after arriving in Canada, Robin performed from coast to coast with his band in premium hotel and cabaret circuits. In addition, he made numerous radio and television appearances in both Canada and Ireland. For many years, Robin has given his time and talent to help raise funds for local charities and telethons.

Robin's career highlights include entertaining Canadian Prime Ministers, Governors General, and the President of The United States. He performed at the Expo World Fair in Vancouver, and with the Irish Showband Show at Waterfront Concert Hall in Belfast. Robin entertained the Canadian Armed Forces in Lahr, Germany on Canada Day, and has performed at country fairs, Irish and Scottish festivals, and tour shows in his native Ireland. Robin recently returned from Gertrude Byrne's All-Star Irish Cruise.
